Summary

On 27 July 1998 passenger/ro-ro cargo vessel Pride of Le Havre was passing the outer breakwater of the Port of Le Havre, France when a switchboard exploded. Three engine room personnel were injured in the accident. One was badly burnt and subsequently died, two survived with less severe burns.
