Summary

Safety stand-by vessel Dea Fighter is equipped with two davit launched fast rescue craft. During 1999 the lifting wire of the starboard FRC davit failed twice. First on 13 May when in Aberdeen Harbour, Scotland with one injury, and then on 16 July at an offshore installation with two injuries.
