If you wish to carry out reserved legal activities as a legal executive you must be authorised.
A reserved legal activity is one of the following:
- exercising a right of audience
- conducting litigation
- reserved instrument, probate or notarial activities
- administering oaths
Authorisation is obtained from the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX).
