VATRESNI1200 - Introduction: Overview

The VAT Retail Export Scheme (VAT RES) in the Northern Ireland enables: 

  • Non-EU visitors and
  • entitled EU residents leaving the EU

to claim a refund of VAT paid on goods purchased in Northern Ireland, provided all the conditions of the scheme are met.
