TSI003200 - Types of Movement: Movements in Temporary Storage (MiTS)
Movements in Temporary Storage involves movement of uncleared goods under customs control from one Temporary Storage Facility to another.
Movement in temporary storage is usually restricted to movements within the same Community Systems Provider system.
Compatible Community Systems Provider inventories must be used at both temporary storage facilities. Cross inventory system movements are only allowed if systems concerned can send and receive the data that both:
- closes the sending Community Systems Provider record
- opens the receiving record
When goods are transferred goods into the facility, they must immediately note their arrival on the stock account record to end the movement.
