Specialist areas: knowledge and information: SI Knowledge Centre
The SI Knowledge Centre (SKC for short) is a web-based system that enables SI people and, eventually, colleagues in other business areas, to share their knowledge and learn from the experiences of others. SKC is split into four main areas:
- The forum - where business related queries can be posted and replies received.
- Knowledge areas - where knowledge and experience is captured and made available to all of SI. All material in this area undergoes a quality assurance process before it is published.
- MIS (Management Information System) - statistics and other detail on how SI is performing.
- News - snippets of external news that are relevant to our business.
