Employer returns: RTI submissions: NVR maintain status: information

MAINTAIN NVR STATUS will be available from the view menu on the ‘Amend Employer Summary’ menu in EBS - ‘Maintain NVR’. This function will allow you to suspend or re-open an employer’s access to the NINO Verification Request (NVR) manually. It also allows for the employer to be granted a fixed period of time during which the employers NVR limit is overridden allowing them to use the NVR service without the risk of automatic suspension.

Note: You will not be able to add Suspension Start / End date or Override Start / End date unless you have access to the Maintain NVR role.

Start suspension / end suspension

This will allow you to manually start a suspension for an employer or end a period of automatic/manual suspension.

The suspend list box displays the start date, end date and type (manual / automatic) for each period of suspension for the employer. The list will appear in descending start order so the most recent suspension period is shown first.

Start suspension

This will

  • Allow you to start a suspension
  • Add a new row to the suspend list box with start date of today (online session) with ‘Type’ set to manual
  • Enable the [End suspension] button
  • Disable the [Add override], [End override] and [Start suspension] buttons once the suspension has been created

End suspension

This will

  • Allow you to end a suspension
  • Set the end date of the online session (today)
  • Enable the [Start suspension] and override buttons once the suspension has been ended
  • Disable the [End suspension] and [End override] buttons once the suspension has been ended

Add / End Override

This will allow you to create a new override period or end an existing override period.

The override list displays the start and end dates of an override for the employer. The list will appear in descending date order so the most recent or pending period is shown first.

Add Override

This will

  • Allow you to start a new override period
  • Allow you to enter an override date in format DD-MM-YYYY
  • Allow you to enter an override end date in format DD-MM-YYYY
  • Disable [Start suspension] and [Add override] buttons

End Override

This will

  • Allow you to enter an override end date DD-MM-YYYY
  • Enable the [Start suspension] and [Add override] buttons
