Employer returns: RTI submissions: NVR: view status introduction

The Function VIEW NVR STATUS will allow you to see if there is an active Suspension or Override set for an employer. The EBS function will allow you to view the NINO Verification Request (NVR) status.

The following information will be displayed in Function VIEW NVR STATUS

  • Employer reference, Accounts Office Reference, Employer name and any trading name
  • NVR Band - displays the name of the NVR band the employer falls into which is dependant on the count of employments for the employer

  • NVR Status - displays the current NVR status of the employer which depends on whether an active suspension record and / or an active override record exists (PAYE55045).

    • Where no active suspension or override exists, ‘Service Available’ is displayed
    • Where an active automatic or manual suspension exists, ‘Suspended - Automatic or Manual’ is displayed
    • Where an active override exists, ‘Override’ is displayed
  • Annual NVR Processed - displays a count of the number of number of NVR processed for the employer in the previous 12 months inclusive of any NVR processed during override periods
  • NVR Processed - displays a count of the number of NVR processed for the employer since the last suspension or override period was in place

Note: Where no suspension or override is held within the last 12 months, it will assume a maximum count for the 12 month period.
