Background: real time information (RTI): enterprise tax management platform (ETMP) roles

ETMP roles

The following roles are available from 15 October 2012.

Role Brief Description
Return Display Displays customer records including designatory and financial data and form bundles. Also creates and views notes.
Accounts View Displays the Taxpayer Overview only without access to the more detailed functions. Also creates and views notes.
Return Processor View and change all aspects of the customer record, including updating forms bundles to amend charges. Can trigger the issue of payslip books / covers. Also creates and views notes.
Return - Process Work Items Provides the ability to view the Universal work list.
Return - Super User Allows a user to change and manage permissions on the Organisational Structure that supports the Universal Work list.
Return - Advance Processor Allows a user to create an Advance Payment to an employer.
Return - Approve Advance Request Manager role to approve Advance Payments.
Return - Update Customer Record Allows a user to view and update the customer record without access to the form bundles. Can view financial data. Also creates and views notes.
Raise Charge Allows manual raising of a charge.
Manage Charge Allows management of charges.
Accounts Administrator Allows users to reset payments (so that they are not allocated to a charge) and post them. Provides ability to view and update customer data.
Payment Processor Provides access to the Unallocated work list, providing a list of all credits on customers’ accounts that are not allocated.

Note: Roles must only be allocated following the receipt of the appropriate training on ETMP and be relevant to the work being performed.
