Handling applications upon receipt: commercially sensitive clearances

Where a clearance contains commercially sensitive information, customers have the opportunity to notify us in advance of making the application to discuss the most appropriate method of submission.

Customers whose affairs are dealt with by Large Business (LB) are directed to contact their Client Relationship Manager, but in all other cases customers should contact the Southend Non-statutory Clearance Team.

The Southend team will decide appropriate handling on a case by case basis and contact the relevant business unit or LC team leader as necessary.
