How to identify an unsuccessful attempt to make a claim

Examples of an unsuccessful attempt to make a claim are

  • Claims made after expiry of the time limit
  • Declaration on the claim form not signed
  • Declaration signed but not by the claimant or other suitable signatory where appropriate
  • Not answering relevant questions on the claim form
  • Not supplying all the other information or documents requested in the claim form or notes
  • DT Claim not certified where needed (see certification of claims at INTM330500)
