Compensation payments: compensation for discrimination

In Lewisham and Guys Mental Heath NHS Trust v Harris (as legal representatives of Andrews Deceased) [2000] 3 All ER 769 it was held that any claim for compensation under the

  • Race Relations Acts
  • Sex Discrimination Act 1975, or
  • Disability Discrimination Act 1995

was a cause for action under s.1(1) of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1934 and could survive the death of the deceased.
