Excise Movement and Control System: EMCS searches: UK search results and error messages

Most of the error messages relate to validation failures for example key fields have not been completed or, depending on the search criteria used, an additional field may be needed. However, some searches may return no results with one of the following messages:

A No records found for ARC No movement details held within the UK which match the specified search criteria. The system will ask you whether a non-UK database search is required.  
       
B Too many results found Search has returned more eADs than can be displayed - please refine the search criteria  
C UK advanced search no records found No movement details held within the UK which match the specified search criteria  

If too many hits occur, the system will terminate the search and you will probably need to reduce the date span. The maximum number of results that can be displayed is 500. Since FS1, EMCS has included the facility to download results into a CSV file.
