Procedures: goods in excess of report and entry: documentation for goods in packages

Excess goods in packages admitted to Turkish preference under ECPIT7170 are to be dealt with separately from the goods already entered.

A written application for the excess goods to be admitted to Turkish preference and request for clearance may be accepted and formal entry and payment of duty dispensed with

  • provided the value of the excess goods and any duty and/or other charges actually payable do not exceed the local limits and
  • such applications, which must identify the packages by mark, number and description of goods, are to be certified ‘Admitted to Turkish Preference: ECPIT7150’ and retained in the ship’s file.

In other cases an entry is required.
