EC Preferences: Exports to Turkey

Evidence of preferential entitlement: general

The normal evidence for preferential entitlement is a properly completed and customs endorsed A.TR Movement Certificate (in respect of those industrial products covered by the Customs Union) and a properly completed and customs endorsed EUR1/EUR-MED Movement Certificate or origin declaration issued by the exporter on an invoice or other commercial documents (in the case of those agricultural and coal and steel products covered by traditional preferential arrangements).

Modified arrangements for postal exportation are set out in ECPET03250 and for baggage in ECPET04375.

Movement certificates are prepared by the exporter, or his authorised agent, and are validated by UK Customs at Salford, the local Chambers of Commerce or a local Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers see ECPET04100.
