If an exporter ‘gets it wrong’, the Unit of Expertise (UoE) can provide advice if required, but there are some basic steps to consider when deciding on the most appropriate course of action.


It is often the case that any mistakes are simply a question of innocent ignorance/inexperience on the part of a well-meaning exporter. Explaining what has gone wrong and how to avoid errors in the future can often rectify the situation.
