Summary proceedings: Bailiffs’ invoice for charges

When you receive the statement

  • acknowledge receipt
  • consider if the bailiffs’ charge is reasonable and complies with the fees agreed between the court, yourself and the bailiff and if so
  • pay the bailiff’s charge from your LOFA account (use code ZQA0114 which then defaults to HZ755).

If the bailiff claims an amount you consider excessive that you cannot deal with locally, ask the Enforcement Technical Team, Shipley for advice.

These costs are not included on the form C17A so are not accounted for on SAFE.
