Issue Receipt - IRIS

IRIS will issue a computer produced receipt on form AZ923 where the taxpayer specifically asks for a receipt at the time they make their payment. Where we receive such a request DMB Banking enter a signal on the payslip to prompt the issue of a computer receipt. When the payment is processed and allocated to the customer records, an ‘R’ is noted in the ‘Notes’ column beside the payment posting to show that a computer receipt has been issued.

There is no facility within IRIS to issue a computer receipt after a payment has been processed. If a customer asks for a receipt in these circumstances, confirm receipt of the payment by letter.
