Discharge of the customs warehousing procedure: trader produced forms

Traders who wish to print their own forms, for example, for use as continuous stationery or for the production of plain paper entries by their computer, must apply for approval and produce a copy of the proposed form for consideration. They should be advised to apply at least one month before the facility is required in case amendments are needed.

You must be satisfied that the content, layout and identification of copies are basically the same as for the official Form C88 and that the conditions are met as set out in the Volume 9 of the Tariff. Applications to use plain paper entry forms produced by the trader should be submitted to the National Clearance Hub (NCH). For further information see Notice 3001.
