Penalty notice: Debt management
The CITEX CCP Network team have responsibility for managing the payment of all Civil Penalties.
If payment has not been made after 30 days the CP liaison team issues a reminder letter and to find out why the penalty has not been paid.
- If it is due to an oversight or failure of the traders systems, the team will request immediate payment. They will then monitor whether the payment is made.
- If the trader claims to have paid the penalty, the team will request details of payment and advise Salford CCP (BTOps) Team of the details.
- If after the deadline set out in the reminder letter the payment is still outstanding, the CITEX CCP Network team will liaise with the Debt Management Unit (DMU) to ask them to pursue non-payment of this debt.
If trader says they have paid, the liaison team requests details and forwards them to CHIEF accounting.
