Each page of both the external Your Tax Account and internal CT View L and P has help available from the word ‘Help’ on the right hand side of the title line. Selecting ‘Help’ displays a glossary of all of the help items available.
You can also see context sensitive help by selecting the icon showing a question mark next to an entry or field on the screen.
If companies or agents need further assistance, the Online Services Helpdesk telephone number is displayed on the external version of Your Tax Account.
It is important to remember that because of the delays in updating the external service, the information provided is always as at the date shown in the top right hand corner of the screen. However, if you find discrepancies between the information in Your Tax Account or CT View L and P and the COTAX VPPD (View Payment and Posting Details) screens that cannot be explained by the delay in updating the online system, you should contact the COTAX helpdesk(This content has been withheld because of exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000) .
