Repayments / reallocations: repayment cancellation: functions: failed repayments - banking operations office

The table below tells you the function or functions to use in particular situations.

For details of how to access any of the COTAX functions select ‘Index Of Functions’ on the left of the screen.

On accessing the function, system Help is available to you at function, screen, field and error message levels.

Situation Function
To record the cancellation of a payable order on a company’s COTAX record CNPO (Cancel Payable Order)
To view the status of the cancelled repayment inhibit signal DAPD (Display AP Details)
To check if the case is working with Debt Management and Banking DPUR (Display Pursuit Action)
To make a repayment by payable order or Bacs that COTAX does not handle automatically DREP (Direct Repayment)
To transfer an overpayment to OAS REAO (Direct Reallocation Out Of COTAX)
To reallocate a repayment to another AP within COTAX REAW (Direct Reallocation Within COTAX)
  • View the identity of the operator who created a repayment
  • Check the details of a repayment made VPPD (View Payment and Posting Details)
