Repayments / reallocations: non automatic reallocations: functions: surrender outside S963 CTA 2010

The table below tells you the function or functions to use in particular situations.

For details of how to access any of the COTAX functions select ‘Index Of Functions’ on the left of the screen.

On accessing the function, system Help is available to you at function, screen, field and error message levels.

Situation Function
To inhibit repayment or reallocation on the AP for which the overpayment will arise. MAPS (Maintain AP Signals)
To reallocate a COTAX overpayment into OAS. REOD (Direct Reallocation Out Of COTAX)
To give effect to a S963/Reg 9 surrender within COTAX. REWD (Direct Reallocation Within COTAX)
To calculate the amount of repayment interest due on the overpaid amount. RINT (Request Repayment Interest Calculation)
To check the amount of the:  
  • overpayment available for reallocation on the surrendering company
  • outstanding liability on the recipient company. VPPD (View Payment and Posting Details)
