Repayments / reallocations: non automatic reallocations: functions: reallocation into COTAX - responsible CT office

The table below tells you the function or functions to use in particular situations.

For details of how to access any of the COTAX functions select ‘Index Of Functions’ in the left of the screen.

On accessing the function, system Help is available to you at function, screen, field and error message levels.

Situation Function
   
To set off against COTAX:  
  • an interest bearing amount
  • interest.
Or to create a credit posting. DSET (District Set Off)  
  To inhibit automatic reallocation or repayment for an AP. MAPS (Maintain AP Signals)
  To see a list of cases where repayment has been claimed for Income Tax, CIS, R & D Tax Credit, Land Remediation Tax Credit or a tax credit. MRPL (Manual Repayments List)
  To enter or amend case notes for a company. NOTE (Case Notes)
  To see details of charges, payments and repayments, and a summary of the accounting position, for an AP. VPPD (View Payment And Posting Details)
