Where land is disposed of which was held at 6 April 1965, and
- no election for 6 April 1965 valuation has been made, and
- it is thought that development value may have been realised,
advice should be sought from the Valuation Office. You should send a memo to the Valuation Office explaining the reason for your request and including the following details.
i) The address or description of the property.
ii) The interest which has passed, for example whether it was a freehold or leasehold interest.
iii) The amount of the consideration.
iv) The dates of disposal and conveyance.
v) The name and address of the transferor.
vi) The name and address of the transferee.
