Compensation: displaced tenants: agricultural: security of tenure

Most agricultural tenancies are annual tenancies, that is they only last for one year but are automatically renewed for another year unless action is taken to bring them to an end. For Capital Gains Tax purposes, an agricultural tenancy is treated as one continuous tenancy, not as a series of one-year tenancies.
