CG10100 - Finding deleted or updated guidance

If you need to refer to guidance that has been deleted or to previous versions of updated content, you can use the UK Government Web Archive (UKGWA), managed by the National Archives. The archive contains records of the Capital Gains Manual dating back to 2003. It takes regular snapshots of GOV.UK and HMRC manuals, preserving the content exactly as they appeared on the selected date.

To view an archived version of a live page, combine the following URL with the URL of the page you want to see:

Archives for deleted pages 

If the page you want to view has been deleted, select a date and then choose the manual and page you wish to view from the following A-Z index timelines: 

When viewing a page in the National Archives, you can select the Timeline option to return to the full list of archive dates for that page.
