2. Site managers
Who can be a site manager, what their responsibilities are, and how to tell DVSA if you want to change your site manager.
You must have at least one site manager. This could be the owner of the test centre or someone you employ to run the test centre.
The site manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of your test centre. They will be the main point of contact for DVSA.
They are responsible for overseeing:
- booking and arranging tests at the centre
- managing the centre’s pre-funded account
- making sure the site meets health and safety requirements
- making sure the site meets security requirements
- making sure equipment is maintained and correctly calibrated
- making sure wifi is working and can be used by DVSA staff
- providing documents if requested by DVSA (for example, inspection sheets or calibration logs)
You must email DVSA if you need to change who the site manager is.
In your email include:
- what date your site manager is changing
- the name and details of your new site manager
