Ports that require the use of Goods Vehicle Movement Service
Information about the ports that require the use of Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS).
Certain British ports require the use of Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS) for all roll on roll off (RoRo) movements when moving goods. There are other ports at which GVMS must be used if moving goods using a specific carrier and ports that use GVMS for imports or exports and not both.
See the list of ports using the Goods Vehicle Movement Service.
The above link also lists the ports using GVMS for exporting from Great Britain at locations where the export declaration must be submitted as ‘arrived’ or ‘pre-lodged’ for the specified locations. It also holds the list of border locations which use GVMS to manage Common Transit Convention (CTC) Office of Transit processes.
