Types of account

The different types of user accounts in Fuel Finder.

You can delegate permissions to your organisation’s personnel who can perform operations according to your own operating requirements.

There are 5 types of account:

Motor fuel trader admin

If you have an ‘admin’ account, you can:

  • add or remove admin users
  • add or update the motor fuel trader point of contact
  • add or remove additional users
  • add or remove forecourts
  • update fuel prices of any forecourt registered under your organisation
  • update details of any forecourt registered under your organisation

The person who registers the organisation for the first time will be assigned this role.

You can have up to 5 administrators.

Motor fuel trader point of contact

If you have ‘motor fuel trader point of contact’ account, you can:

  • add or remove admin users
  • add or remove additional users
  • add or remove forecourts
  • update fuel prices of any forecourt registered under your organisation
  • update details of any forecourt registered under your organisation

The administrator will assign a motor fuel trader point of contact when registering the organisation.

The nominated person will be sent an email invitation link to activate their Fuel Finder account.

You can only have 1 motor fuel trader point of contact.

Forecourt first point of contact

If you have a ‘forecourt first point of contact’ account, you can:

  • update fuel prices of any forecourt to which you are assigned
  • update details of any forecourt to which you are assigned

The administrator or motor fuel trader point of contact will assign a forecourt first point of contact when registering a forecourt.

The nominated person will be sent an email invitation link to activate their Fuel Finder account.

You can only have 1 first point of contact for each forecourt.

Forecourt alternative point of contact

If you have a ‘forecourt alternative point of contact’ account, you can:

  • update fuel prices of any forecourt to which you are assigned
  • update details of any forecourt to which you are assigned

The administrator or motor fuel trader point of contact will assign a forecourt alternative point of contact when registering a forecourt.

The nominated person will be sent an email invitation link to activate their Fuel Finder account.

You can only have 1 alternative point of contact for each forecourt.

Forecourt additional users

Additional users can be assigned to a forecourt.

If you have an additional user account, you can:

  • update fuel prices of any forecourt to which you are assigned

The administrator or motor fuel trader point of contact can assign additional users to a forecourt once it has been registered.

The nominated people will be sent an email invitation link to activate their Fuel Finder account.

You can have up to 10 additional users for each forecourt.
