Find out if the goods you're declaring to inward or outward processing are classed as sensitive goods.

When bringing or taking goods to and from the UK under inward or outward processing there are some goods or products that are sensitive goods. They fall into five groups:

  • agricultural products

  • unmanufactured tobacco

  • products other than those under points 1 and 2 subject to agricultural export refund

  • fishery products subject to partial autonomous suspension and quota

  • ethyl alcohol and spirit products falling under classification codes:

    • 2207 10

    • 2207 20

    • 2208 40 39 – 2208 40 99

    • 2208 90 91 – 2208 90 99
