UK High Commission delegation visits Muzaffarabad
Acting Deputy High Commissioner Susan Hyland and Tony Jones, Deputy Director British Council, visited Muzaffarabad
A delegation from the UK High Commission, led by Acting Deputy High Commissioner Susan Hyland and Tony Jones, Deputy Director British Council, visited Muzaffarabad between 21-22 October to speak to politicians, journalists and students on issues of bilateral interest. In addition to meeting leading political figures from the government and opposition, the British delegation also held discussions with the Vice Chancellor of AJK University and held a Question and Answer session with students. In her meetings, Ms Hyland spoke about political and economic development, UK aid following the 2005 earthquake, and how the UK diaspora can help improve prosperity in the region.
