Transparency and Accountability Social Media Campaign

The Embassies of Canada, Korea, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States in the Czech Republic have launched a six-week social media campaign to highlight transparency and accountability.

Transparency and Accountability campaign

This campaign continues our long-term joint efforts to promote transparency and accountability and follows our Joint Press Statement released on December 9, 2015. Our goal is to share our countries’ experiences in combating corruption and enhancing transparency.

Watcht our Ambassadors explain why we engage in combatting corruption.

Each week will be dedicated to a different theme. Over the course of the campaign, participating embassies will post information related to their experiences in each area:

  • 25/01 – 31 /01 Political Party Financing

  • 01/02 – 07/02 Open Government Partnership

  • 08/02 – 14/02 Civil Service Act

  • 15/02 – 21/02 Whistleblowers

  • 22/02 – 28/02 Public Prosecutors

  • 29/02 – 06/03 Public Procurement

The end of the campaign will be marked by a message on the crowd-speaking platform Thunderclap and the release of a campaign fact sheet.

Please follow our campaign and engage with us on on Twitter and Facebook, using hashtags #GoTransparent and #protikorupci.
