Foreign Secretary William Hague visits Oman to discuss the wide ranging warm ties between Oman and the UK

The UK Foreign Secretary, William Hague, was received yesterday for a meeting with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said. They discussed the wide ranging warm ties between Oman and the UK and wider developments in the region. The Foreign Secretary described the UK’s relationship with Oman as one of unique importance. This is Mr Hague’s third visit to Oman as Foreign Secretary. His last visit was in November 2010 when he accompanied Her Majesty The Queen on her State Visit to Oman.
