It is an Irish public holiday.
In case of an out of hours emergency please call our switchboard on 00 353 1 205 3700 and listen to instructions on how to get in touch with our Consular Assistance team in London who only handle emergencies involving British citizens abroad who are in need of urgent assistance.
Examples of such emergencies include the hospitalisation, detention or death of a British national overseas.
