Temporary relocation of visa and consular sections

The British High Commission is temporarily relocating the visa and consular sections between 16 April and 1 July due to refurbishment work being carried out in the Port Louis office.

The full address of the relocated sections is: Westminster House, John Kennedy Avenue, Floréal.

Visa applicants will need to submit their biometrics at the relocated office after they have completed their applications online. Passports should also be collected in Floreal. No members of the public will be admitted to the premises without prior appointment.

The phone number for enquiries remains unchanged. The number is +202 9400.

All consular services will be by appointment only. For example notary services or Interviews for first time passport applications, the phone number for booking appointments is as above.

The British High Commission is committed to provide the same level of service during this temporary relocation and apologises for any inconvenience.

Prospective students are also advised that a visa briefing will be held at the British Council Offices in Rose-Hill on 16 May 2013. This briefing will explain how to apply for a UK visa. Students can register for the event by emailing general.enquiries@mu.britishcouncil.org
