SIN Russia holds COSPAR business breakfast

On the 7 August 2014 Minister-Counsellor Economic and Trade&Investment Barbara Habberjam hosted a business breakfast for leading UK space scientists organised by SIN Russia on the occasion of the 40th COSPAR Scientific Assembly.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

It is the first time that the prestigious COSPAR space forum has been held in Moscow (2-10 August), presenting SIN Russia an excellent opportunity to discuss possibilities for bilateral collaboration in the space sector.

Professor Andrew Fabian (University of Cambridge), Professor Louise Harra (UCL Mullard Space Science Laboratory), Professor Mike Kosch (Lancaster University), Professor Philippa Browning (University of Manchester), Dr. Ian McCrea (Rutherford Appleton Laboratory) and Mr. Daniel Tye (Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd) attended the event. In the course of the meeting the UK guests shared their experience of research co-operation with Russia in the field of space sciences and identified key areas of interest for prospective UK-Russia joint collaboration.
