Promoting educational links between the UK and Ecuador

The British Embassy in Ecuador invited Ecuadorean study abroad agents to participate in the “ENGLISH UK FAIR LIMA 2013”.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The fair brought together accredited UK English language centres and study abroad agents with the objective of promoting new and innovate teaching methods. Education is a pillar for the development of society, and both Ecuador and UK can mutually benefit from these kind of initiatives.

The fair took place in Lima, Peru from the 17th to the 20th of April, and was organized by English UK, the world’s leading language teaching association, in partnership with the British Council, UK Trade & Investment, and VisitBritain.

During the fair, both Ecuadorean study abroad agents and also agents from other countries had the opportunity to meet with educational institutions from the UK. This new link will help to build better cultural relations between both countries. In addition, the UK, which has an excellent academic reputation, can help Ecuador to achieve its aim of offering a better level of academic education.
