Office closures in Italy in August

The British Embassy in Rome and our Consulates in Italy will be closed on Thursday 15 August and Monday 26 August.

In case of an emergency please call our switchboard on (0039) 06 4220 0001 and listen to instructions on how to get in touch with our Consular Assistance team, who only handle emergencies involving British citizens abroad who are in need of urgent assistance.

Examples of such emergencies include the hospitalisation, detention or death of a British national overseas.
