The Mansion House Scholarship Scheme exists to fund scholarships for students and young business executives from overseas to travel to the United Kingdom to study or to undertake training or work experience in the Financial Services Sector.

Some one hundred and twenty scholarships have now been awarded by successive Lord Mayors over the past fifteen years, with recipients selected from fifty countries. The scholars are selected from the countries which the Lord Mayor visits during her year in office and are offered to those who have been accepted to study at a British university or to attend a short attachment or business training course in the City of London.

This is the first time the Scholarship will be available to Uruguayan nationals, and it is launched as the Lord Mayor will visit Uruguay in May. One scholarship will be awarded in Uruguay for up to £ 7500.

To apply, download the application form (MS Word Document, 97 KB), complete and send it to ukinuruguay@adinet.com.uy before 14 April 2014.
