Meet the British Ambassador to the Holy See

To mark the second year of his Ambassadorial mandate, Nigel Baker launches competition to meet twitter followers and answer their questions
To enter the competition, followers of the British Embassy to the Holy See twitter account @UKinHolySee are invited to send the British Ambassador to the Holy See, Nigel Baker, a tweet including the hashtag #meetHMA, replying to the question:
“If you met the British Ambassador to the Holy See, what would you ask him and why?”
The Ambassador will address a range of the questions on Twitter and via his blog, and will select three followers to visit and meet him for a fuller discussion. The winners will also be given a copy of the official proceedings of the 2012 Colloquium “Britain and the Holy See: A Celebration of 1982 and the wider relationship”, marking the 30th anniversary of the upgrade of diplomatic relations between the United Kingdom and the Holy See to ambassadorial level in 1982.
Launching the competition, the British Ambassador to the Holy See Nigel Baker said:
I look forward very much to taking your questions and meeting some of you for in-depth discussion on my work, UK-Holy See relations, religion and foreign policy, and wider foreign policy issues.
The deadline to submit questions is Sunday 15 September 2013.
Rules and eligibility:
The competition will run from 2 to 15 September. The deadline to submit questions will be Sunday 15 September 2013. The winners will be notified by Friday 20 September 2013;
Prize: Three winners will meet Nigel Baker, British Ambassador to the Holy See, at an event organised at his Residence in Rome later in the year. During the event, HMA Baker will give in-depth answers to their questions. The winners will also be given a copy of the official proceedings of the 2012 Colloquium “Britain and the Holy See”;
Followers of @UKinHolySee account are eligible to apply, with the exclusion of: former and present staff at the British Embassy to the Holy See and their relatives, the winners of 2012 Essay competition “Britain and the Holy See”;
The Embassy/Foreign and Commonwealth Office is unable to cover any travel, meal, accommodation expenses for winners travelling to Rome to participate in the event. Should winners be unable to be attend, HMA Holy See will answer their questions on his blog and via @UKinHolySee twitter.
Questions can be sent in English, Italian, Spanish, French.
