On 26 February 2015, UK Visas & Immigration will launch a new 24-hour Super Priority Visa Service in Paris, France. A 24-hour service means visitors across the world can travel to the UK via Paris, picking up a visa on their way. This will be faster than using the Priority Visa Service available in most locations.

Extending the Super Priority Visa Service to Paris is another example of how the UK is leading the world in the provision of premium visa services for those coming to the UK to visit or work.

Welcoming the introduction of the Super Priority Visa Service in Paris, the Prime Minister said:

As part of our long-term economic plan, we are determined to do everything we can to back business, support investment and create jobs. The new 24 hour visa service will persuade more business travellers, investors and tourists to visit Britain, to trade with Britain and to expand in Britain.

This is good news for British business and tourism, helping us to build a more resilient economy and secure a brighter future for Britain.

Simon Hayes, UKVI International Director said:

I am delighted to see the Super Priority Visa Service being launched in Paris. This underlines our strong commitment to continuous improvement of our service and our offer to customers. We hope this new service will be particularly useful for business people who will be able to pursue short notice opportunities more easily.
