Important notice for British nationals in Chennai
Change in Consular counter hours at the British Deputy High Commission, Chennai.
From 2 January 2014, the Consular Section’s counter hours will change to 0900 – 1200 hours (IST) Monday - Friday and appointments will be available only during these times.
The telephone enquiry hours will remain same from 0830 – 1630 hours (IST) Monday – Thursday and 0830 – 1330 hours (IST) on Fridays, except public holidays.
