Scheduled flights in and out of the most affected parts of the region are now limited, and this means that our courier routes at this time are less reliable.

As a result, UKVI must unfortunately suspend its Priority Visa Service in West Africa. This change will take effect from Monday 27 October 2014. Whilst our Priority “Fast Track” Service will not be available until further notice, UKVI is committed to ensuring that our standard service is not compromised during the crisis and we will continue to assess visit visa applications within 15 working days.

This measure is temporary and we regret any inconvenience it may cause to our customers.
