GREAT campaign in advanced engineering: A curtain raiser
Interactive session with UKTI sector specialist in Kolkata
Organised by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) & supported by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the event attracted a focused gathering of manufacturing companies from the Eastern region. The key objective for the UKTI team in Kolkata was to engage more closely with the companies which were looking to the UK to grow their business.
The well-attended event served as a curtain raiser for the Advanced Engineering GREAT road shows (in four cities) which would take place in India later this year.
Dr Chris Beck, the UKTI sector specialist for Advanced Engineering, shared his insights on the technology drivers that make UK an attractive FDI destination for locating a company’s R&D, manufacturing and sales functions.
