I would like to extend my congratulations to all those who are celebrating Eid Al-Fitr inside and outside Sudan.

After the holy month of fasting, during which friends and families have fasted and shared this time together, I wish you all a joyful Eid, and for peace and stability for Sudan. I hope that the month of Ramadan has brought peoples together, and built a sense of tolerance and understanding, which can now be celebrated during the next few days.

I send my greetings from all of us at the British Embassy here in Khartoum.
