Changes to consular services in Egypt
British Embassy in Cairo is introducing an important change to how we deliver some of our consular services.
From 1 December 2013 we are launching an online appointment system. The new system will result in a more efficient and customer friendly service with shorter queuing time and a quicker service.
If you need any of our Notarial and Documentary Services, e.g. Administering an Oath or an Affirmation, Witnessing signatures on Power of Attorney, Statutory Declarations, Certifying Copies of passports, Registering a Birth or Death, Issuing a Marriage Declaration; then you will need to book an appointment online, selecting the service that you require and the time you want to come to the Embassy. We aim to deliver your service within 20 minutes.
