Changes for UK student visa applicants
If you are heading to the UK to study this year, read the changes made for Tier 4 student visa application

Following recent changes to UK Immigration Rules, Omani nationals applying for a Student visa (PBS Tier 4) are no longer required to attend an interview by video conference at the Visa Application Centre. As a result, Omani nationals should now select the option: ‘PBS Tier 4 Student (Oman nationals only)’ when booking an appointment through the visa application website - www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk. Appointment times for this option are available from 9am to 4pm daily. Alternatively applicants may choose appointments in the premium lounge (available from 9am to 4pm daily) or prime time (available from 8am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm daily). Premium lounge and prime time appointments are both subject to an additional charge. UK Visas and Immigration may still require Omani nationals to attend an interview at a later date.
