Change to consular services in Vietnam

From 1st September 2013 the British Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will not accept consular birth registration applications and perform Civil partnership registration .

From 1st September 2013 the British Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will not accept consular birth registration applications and perform Civil partnership registration. These will be dealt with by the British Embassy in Hanoi.

For birth registration, if you wish to submit an application in person at the British Embassy in Hanoi, you will need to book an appointment online at: www.britishembassyhanoi.clickbook.net

If you wish to send the application to Hanoi by post, please use a registered mail service or courier. The Embassy assumes no legal or other responsibility for any loss, damage or misplacement of the application and original supporting documents. In this case you will need to pay the relevant fee by Visa or MasterCard. Please email us: consularenquiries.vietnam@fco.gov.uk clearly mark 2nd enquiry on the subject line to obtain the Card Authorisation Slip.

For Civil partnership registration, you will need to book an appointment online at: www.britishembassyhanoi.clickbook.net
