The bidding window for the Arab Partnership Participation Fund (APPF) in Jordan to support the delivery of Political Participation projects for 2013/2014 is now open. Proposals should focus on encouraging improved voter and civil engagement in the governorates outside of Amman, covering one or both of the following priorities:
- Supporting local civil society institutions to play a positive and responsible role in local politics, building their capacity to effectively harness information on local activities and cascade key messages and platforms to their respective communities.
- Strengthening local community engagement with municipal councils regarding local events—political, economic, and security-related—and providing a mechanism for constructive dialogue with municipal officials.
All bidders should complete a concept note template and send it to AP.Amman@fco.gov.uk by 19 August.
The Embassy will accept concept notes in Arabic, although English is preferred.
The Embassy will only contact successful bidders to discuss their concept notes and next steps.
